Send us your dates and party size. Within five business days, every stay above is booked at the property’s standard rate, in your name, with our advisor standing attached — breakfast, property credit, and upgrade priority wherever the house extends them. The hotels pay us; you don’t.
By email, at least thirty days before travel. One round of changes goes through us; after that, the hotel is yours to call. Tables, hours, and the objects belong to the assembled edition.
The stays
Two historic houses chosen for character over convenience, then a two-night crescendo at a Relais & Châteaux property in a resurrected 1880s mining camp. Booked in your name at standard rates whether you book through us or not — and through the house, with our advisor standing attached: breakfast, property credit and upgrade priority wherever the property extends them.
The ritual
Hot water under an amphitheater town — the edition’s ritual is a soak the miners took first. Your dashboard placard sets the departure time. Trust it.
The six nights
Three acts set the pace.
A road that climbs by turning back on itself — counterclockwise, in the two-week window when the whole range turns. You end where you began. You arrive as someone slightly different.
The overture · one night
A rail town at the bottom of the map. One early dinner we chose months ago. The first cassette side. Nothing else — on purpose.
The ascent · two nights
The high road north, the amphitheater town, the soak. Two nights to let the altitude and the light reset you.
The gold act · three nights
One night under the box canyon’s grand flag, then through Ophir at golden hour to two final nights in the ghost town. The night you’ll describe first, for years.
